School Streets

A brilliantly simple idea, School Streets are brief closures of roads around schools at drop-off and pick-up times, to create safe space for children.
This space protects them from harmful air pollution, encourages active travel, and - vital in the era of COVID - allows for social distancing between waiting parents.
There are hundreds of School Streets planned in London, and elsewhere in the UK - and yet so far none are confirmed for the whole of Norfolk.
